It comes from a single-body plot of half a hectare located on the Bricco Fubine, facing south, on medium-textured soil tending towards sandy limestone. Manual harvesting in perforated boxes, destemming, soft pressing, maceration for approximately 10-12 days, aging in steel tanks for 5 months; Slavonian oak barrels for 18 months; bottle for approximately 6 months.
It has an intense ruby red color with slightly orange reflections. The master’s wine is intense, ethereal, with jammy aromas that clearly recall hints of plums in alcohol, figs and blackberries; it is a wine of great character and great structure; its notable body makes it soft and long in the mouth; It has good acidity which gives freshness and balance.
To be paired with important first courses such as hare tagliatelle, braised and roasted red meats, furred game and mature cheeses.
