Barolo “Monvigliero” DOCG 2020

The Monvigliero hill is recognized as the “Grand Cru” of Verduno and is one of the most significant in the entire Barolo area. The owned vineyard is over 35 years old, has an altitude of approximately 320 meters and is exposed to the south. The result is an austere but elegant wine, which has its distinctive characteristics in its aromatic complexity and depth of taste. Maceration on the skins and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28/30°C for 22/30 days in steel. Maturation for three years in 20/40 hl Slavonian and French oak barrels. Aged for two months in steel and six months in the bottle.

Bright garnet red color. Complex and elegant nose, typical and refined, with notes of black cherry, strawberry, dried leaves, rose petals, liquorice, cocoa and leather, accompanied and supported by mineral and balsamic sensations. Structured, vigorous and tasty sip, with great freshness and tannic texture that extend the persistence to infinity.
