Aetneus Etna Rosso DOC 2019

The grapes are harvested with careful sorting and placed in low boxes to be taken intact to the winery, where they are destemmed (20% left in whole bunches) and pressed. Maceration continues for 12 days at 25-28°C in special steel tanks. After racking, the wine is placed in tonneaux where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. It matures for 18 months in used tonneaux and refines for at least 12 months in the bottle.

Ruby red colour; broad and intense nose, of ripe fruit and tobacco. Elegant and complex, harmonious sip, with velvety tannins and long persistence.

Stewed red meats, roasted or grilled meats, game, mature cheeses.
