The products of Cortino
The History
Gianpaolo, Andrea and Marco Boffa are the owners of the Cortino agricultural winery, founded in the seventies when Gianpaolo was one of the founding members. The path followed by the winery was to tell the story of its territory and it was therefore natural to dedicate seven of the thirteen labels produced to Dolcetto, which here in Diano has its own DOCG.
Terroir & Winery
The municipality of Diano d’Alba is known for its 76 “Sorì”, areas particularly suited to viticulture and in particular to the production of Dolcetto, to which they give a unique identity. The winery’s objective is to work in full respect of nature and health. The aid of modern technologies does not constitute the dominant part of the work, instead leaving the main task to nature and man’s mastery.
