The History
In 1991 the Cantina La Valle was born in Rodengo Saiano, in the Franciacorta region. Its name derives from the winery’s main estate, called “La Valle,” which has been owned by the family since 1890. In 2010 the family restored a historic 1400s winery, creating a space dedicated entirely to production and wine refinement. This initiative has given rise to an innovative model that combines tradition and technology.
Terroir & Winery
The vineyards are located on lands of Jurassic origin, among the oldest in Franciacorta, where the presence of fossil ammonites gives the wines unique minerality and flavor. The 6 hectares of land owned enjoy an exceptional microclimate which nourishes vines such as Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
