Description

Grape harvest in late September/mid-October; destemming and fermentation for 15 days at 28°C, with spontaneous malolactic fermentation and clarification; second fermentation on the pomace of Amarone and Recioto for 8-10 days at 18°C; the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 14 months and then in the bottle for at least 6 months.

Tasting

Intense and clear ruby red color; nose of currant, cherry and raspberry; rich, fruity and balanced on the palate, with soft tannins and a lovely aromatic freshness.

Pairings

Stewed or grilled red meats, mature cheeses.
