After selecting the finest Sangiovese grapes, the winemaking process involves spontaneous fermentation on indigenous yeasts and subsequent maturation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for at least three weeks. The wine is then aged in Troncais and Allier barriques for at least 24 months.
Bright ruby red in color; rich nose of violets, morello cherry, currant, and sour cherries, with notes of leather and tobacco; warm and enveloping on the palate, with soft, velvety tannins and a long finish with spicy aftertaste.
