Tenuta Bellafonte

Tenuta Bellafonte is the property of Peter Heilbron, of German origin, who found in Umbria, near the small village of Torre del Colle, the ideal place to realize his project. The estate extends for 20 hectares of olive groves, orchards, woods and vineyards; the winery is a tribute to tradition, but from an innovative perspective of energy saving: completely underground in direct contact with the rock, equipped with a natural air circulation system through underground ducts, a photovoltaic system and a biomass boiler to exploit pruning waste. Grapes grown without chemicals, destemmed without pressing, ferment spontaneously and give life to territorial, healthy and profoundly elegant wines.
