Since 2003, Alex Belingheri has been producing mountain wines in Valle Camonica, cultivating vineyards between 250 and 800 meters above sea level, often located on steep slopes. Production is entirely dedicated to the recovery of ancient local varieties or biotypes. Alex also spearheaded the first experiment in aging the classic method in lake waters, 40 meters below the surface of Lake Iseo. This was followed by a new project involving aging in the waters of the Alpine Lake Aviolo, at 1,930 meters above sea level within the Adamello Natural Park.
