The History
The Antica Masseria Venditti, a family-run business, adopts as its symbol the farmhouse with the family press dating back to 1595, located in the Castelvenere area. The building served as a winter home due to its proximity to the land to be cultivated. The Venditti family, throughout all its generations, has always independently cultivated its own vines, vinified its own grapes and matured its own wines.
Terroir & Winery
The careful management of the vineyards, with vines up to 60 years of age, the use of green manures, green pruning and low yields, allow us to have healthy and ripe bunches, which will be harvested by hand in autumn. The hot summers with modest rainfall and the strong temperature range between day and night give the wines great character and considerable aging potential.
