Giovanni and Nico’s winery is located in the municipality of Coccaglio, at the top of Montorfano, the hill that delimits Franciacorta to the south; hill of more ancient and tectonic origin than the other Franciacorta hills of morainic origin, Montorfano has a ferrous and red soil which typifies the wines with a lot of minerality.

The History
The Arcari + Danesi agricultural winery was founded in 2006 from an idea developed 10 years earlier by Giovanni Arcari and Nico Danesi. Friends since they were children, Giovanni and Nico have always worked in the world of wine, the former as a trader, the latter as a winemaker. The winery has always been their dream, which finally came true.
Terroir & Winery
Production focuses on Franciacorta Classic Method, made with the “Grape Only” method, i.e. using the sugary must of their wines rather than the sugar normally used, both during the tirage phase and at the time of dosing.
