Guided by passion and scrupulous attention to every detail, Francine dedicates her energy to the vineyards located in the villages of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and on the Corton hill. All the vineyards are managed according to the principles of organic farming, even if the Domaine has no intention of obtaining any official certification.

The History
Domaine Au Pied du Mont Chauve is the fruit of the inspiration of Francine Picard, daughter of one of the most renowned wine families in Burgundy. After a series of professional experiences, he decided to rediscover his roots and bring back to life the historic estate that his father had managed. The term “Mont Chauve” in local dialect means “Montrachet”, and the Domaine is located within the charming Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet.
Terroir & Winery
The Domaine places the valorisation of the uniqueness of the various terroirs at the center of its attention. His wines are distinctly mineral, with a beautiful precision that is evident above all in the initial aroma and flavor. The use of wood, if present, is always measured, never dominant nor invasive.
