Most of the cultivated fields are located in the San Paolo hamlet of the municipality of Tufo, recognized as the area of excellence for the cultivation of the Greco vine.

The History
For five centuries, the Ferrara family inhabited the lands of Tufo, in the heart of Campania. By listening, understanding and cultivating the land, the Benito Ferrara winery, which has roots in the early 1900s, has expanded from 2.5 in the beginning to 25 hectares cared for today by Gabriella Ferrara and her husband Sergio.
Terroir & Winery
The land boasts an optimal position, located between 450 and 600 meters above sea level, with a southern exposure, hilly terrain and a medium-textured soil composition. All the vineyard areas are located in the municipality of Tufo, in the San Paolo district for the production of Greco and in the municipality of Montemiletto for the production of Aglianico.
