The History
In 1972, the brothers Giuseppe and Pierino Bisci purchased a 25-hectare property for the cultivation of vines. Right from the start, and with great foresight, they bet everything on the Verdicchio grown in Matelica and made it their mission. Today Giuseppe’s sons, Mauro and Tito, reap the fruits of this vision and carry forward its intentions and philosophy.
Terroir & Winery
Of the 20 hectares of vineyards owned, 18 are planted with Verdicchio, with two hectares of Sangiovese and Merlot. The vineyard is located on a slight hilly slope facing mainly south, at around 350m above sea level. Organic certification since 2016, sealing a production philosophy that has always been devoted to great respect for the environment, for the vine, for the final product.
