Boschis Francesco

The estate began in 1919 when Telesforo Boschis, a Barolo winemaker, moved to Dogliani, in the hamlet of Pianezzo, where he grew and sold his own grapes. In 1968 his son Francesco began making wine from the grapes and producing a few hundred bottles of Dolcetto; these first satisfactory experiments pushed Francesco and his son Mario to insist in this direction, increasing production over the years and diversifying it to enhance the individual vineyards. Today Mario and his wife Simona run the estate together with their sons Marco and Paolo.
