Branko
Branko is the farm of Erzetic Igor, a winemaker who began transforming the winery after graduating in 1998. He has expanded the area of specialized vineyards to over seven hectares, mainly with white grape varieties. It has completely modernized the winemaking and aging rooms, equipping them with equipment that respects the integrity of the bunches and grapes.

The History
The significant presence in the territory of the Erzetic family dates back to the 1950s but the orientation towards wine specialization is intimately connected to the birth of the Consortium for the protection of D.O.C. wines. “Collio” in the mid-60s. The winery takes its name from his father Branko Erzetic, but it was in 1998 with his son Igor that the winery took a new direction in its vocation for vines.
Terroir & Winery
Cormons, in the province of Gorizia, is located near the border with Slovenia and is an area dominated by the eastern hills of Friuli, renowned for its wine production with the Doc Collio denomination. Branko cultivates a “garden vineyard” with both traditional (“upside down”) and French (“Guyot”) farming techniques. The protection of the vineyards occurs through integrated methods, with particular attention to the use of organic formulations.
