The History
The winemaking tradition of the Bressan family dates back three centuries to Giacomo Bressan, a passionate winemaker, already heir to a tradition of winemakers. Today, after eight generations, Fulvio Bressan continues the family legacy with passion and peasant wisdom, also passed down by his father Nereo, a protagonist of the post-war Friulian wine revival.
Terroir & Winery
The vineyards are located on land covered with pebbles brought by the Isonzo river, which absorb the heat during the day and release it at night. Here manual labor is predominant, without the use of artificial irrigation or herbicides and pesticides. Even in the winery, Fulvio’s mastery lies in acwinerying the natural transformation process; only indigenous yeasts, no filtration or clarification.
