Kurt and Johanna Rottensteiner, guided by deep passion and dedication, run the historic Brunnenhof, which has been owned by the Brunnenhof family for over two centuries. Located in the town of Mazzon, above Egna, this area is recognized as a Grand Cru for Pinot Noir, which, together with other prestigious varieties of wines, constitutes the central and vital nucleus of the winery.

The products of Brunnenhof

The History

Johanna and Kurt Rottensteiner were born and lived in Bolzano, their families have worked in the wine sector for centuries. In 1999 they took over the historic Brunnenhof estate and in 2001 the first labels were released. The children Johann and Eva later joined the family team.

Terroir & Winery

The family estate Brunnenhof Mazzon is located at an altitude of between 400 and 450 meters. It is embraced on one side by the majestic mountains of the Königswiese and on the other by gentle hills that extend towards Bassa Atesina and the Oltradige, creating a protected and favorable environment for vineyards.
