Bucciarelli

On 18 June 1549 Michelangelo Buonarroti purchased the Podere Casanova, perfectly corresponding to the boundaries of the current Antico Podere Casanova of the Bucciarelli family. Already at that time, the great value of the wine produced on the farm was recognized, which was valued at 50 sous per barrel. The estate, founded in 1926, is located in Castellina in Chianti, between Siena and Florence, in the heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG area.
