Always apple producers in the Non Valley, in 2016 they began the cultivation of Solaris, a variety of white grapes from a “resistant” vine, the result of a selection by the Friborg agricultural institute in the mid-1970s. It is a variety that requires no more than two phytosanitary treatments per year and has found the ideal place to express itself in the Alta Valle di Non plateau.

The History
Michele Zucal is a young winemaker from Val di Non, in Romeno on the Alta Valle di Non plateau, located at 1000 meters above sea level. Here in 2016 he planted a Solaris variety vineyard with the aim of contributing to the diversification of agricultural biodiversity with the utmost respect for naturalness and sustainability.
Terroir & Winery
The wine produced is born on the Alta Valle di Non plateau at around 980m above sea level. The soil, calcareous-clayey and medium deep, is characterized by a low percentage of skeleton but the slope of the land still guarantees excellent water drainage.
