The Fina winerys are an important player in the Sicilian wine sector, among the protagonists of the rebirth of one of the most beautiful and evocative areas of Italian enology: the Marsala countryside. This area, which overlooks the sea and the salt pans, is part of the Stagnone Islands Nature Reserve.
Bruno Fina and his sons began an ambitious restoration project in 2005 of an ancient farmhouse in Contrada Bausa, together with the creation of new vineyards. Thanks to incessant commitment, deep passion and dedication, the family has managed in just a few years to become a point of reference in the wine world, admirably representing a unique territory, renowned for viticulture and its incredible charm.
The vineyards are developed in the Contrada Bausa area, located north-east of the municipality of Marsala. Here, the grapes are caressed by a salty Mediterranean wind, while the warm sun favors their ripening. In addition to native varieties such as Grillo, Zibibbo, Nero d’Avola and Perricone, several international varieties are grown, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Traminer, Merlot and Cabernet.
