A Trentino winery that places respect for tradition and the search for quality at its centre, Cantine Monfort has dedicated itself for over ten years to the recovery and vinification of native varieties at risk of extinction, such as Blanc de Sers, produced from ancient varieties such as Vanderbara , Vernaza and red Veltliner. These vineyards are located between 500 and 600 meters above sea level in Serso in the Mocheni Valley.
In 1945 Giovanni Simoni, grandfather of the current owner Lorenzo, founded the winery which has always been a point of reference in Trentino wine production. Located in the historic center of Lavis, the Simoni family is dedicated to the exclusive winemaking of Uvetrentine grapes, adopting integrated production systems that preserve the Organic balance of nature.
The vineyards are located in the four main sub-areas, each with excellent exposure: the hills of Lavis and Trento, the Piana Rotaliana, Valsugana and the steep slopes of the Cembra Valley.
