Cascina Luisin shows a profound respect for the winemaking tradition of Langhe and Roero. The winery has chosen to conserve Barbera vineyards (in the old vineyard located in the prestigious “Asili” cru of Barbaresco) and Dolcetto vineyards in particularly suitable soil. Furthermore, their range also includes excellent Arneis.

The History
Founded in 1913 by Luigi Minuto, great-grandfather of the current owner Roberto, Cascina Luisin (“little Luigi” in Piedmontese dialect) has always maintained a family management. This approach has allowed us to maintain rigorous control over the entire production process, from pruning to harvesting, from winemaking to wine distribution
Terroir & Winery
The Nebbiolo vineyards, together with Barbera and Dolcetto, have an average age of 60 years and are located between the municipalities of Barbaresco, Serralunga and Alba (San Rocco), on several important Crus; the Arneis vineyard is located in Vezza d’Alba, in the heart of Roero.
