Castel Noarna is a farm located inside a medieval castle dating back to the 11th century, surrounded by a single vineyard that extends over the surrounding hills. This vineyard represents a true cru-monopole, delimited by the border of the forest, in a rich and diversified ecosystem. The wines produced by Castel Noarna are the personal expression of Marco Zani and embody the distinctive character of the Destra Adige Trentina territory.

The products of Castel Noarna
The History
1989 marks the year of the first vinification of the grapes. After the first years of conventional work, the turning point came in 2007 when the winery fully embraced the philosophy of natural agriculture, becoming a point of reference in this sense within the territory.
Terroir & Winery
The soils are calcareous, thin and rich in skeleton. The organic component is mainly made up of silt. The particularity of the soils is enriched by a variety of mineral components, including basalt, porphyry and slate. These characteristics, combined with the east-southeast oriented exposure and the altitude of 350 meters above sea level, give the character of the Castel Noarna wines.
