Ceretto is one of the protagonists of the Langhe wine world, and one of the companies with the largest vineyard area among those in Piedmont. For three generations, the Ceretto family has been involved in viticulture, and carries forward a legacy of hard work and excellence.
The Ceretto winery has its origins in the 1930s in Alba, when Riccardo Ceretto made wine by purchasing grapes from others. The innovation arrived with his sons Bruno and Marcello who in the 1960s, inspired by Burgundy, began to map the most suitable lands and purchase them. Since then, they have never left the land.
The Ceretto property is made up of various lands, and creates a mosaic of vineyards of great value. The Monsordo Bernardina estate, near Alba, consists of 30 hectares surrounding an ancient farmhouse, transformed into the winery headquarters in the 1980s. In the Bricco Rocche winery, in the heart of Castiglione Falletto, only the most prestigious Crus of Barolo are vinified: Bricco Rocche, Brunate, Bussia, Prapò and Cannubi. The Bricco Asili winery is dedicated to the great Barbarescos from the Bernadot and Asili crus.
