The History
Pascal Collotte, who wanted to become a winemaker, dreamed of a property with authentic charm. In 2002 he purchased the chateau with 45 hectares of land, of which 1.5 hectares of vineyards. Cooper before becoming a winemaker, he traveled the world and visited hundreds of wineries. In addition to being a winemaker, he likes to define himself as a gardener, due to his dedication to the care of his vineyards. Their children, Clémence and Victor, joined the team in 2016 and 2018, and continue to make history…
Terroir & Winery
Near St Emilion, the terroir is exceptional, predominantly made up of clay-limestone coasts facing south, south/west for the reds, with the northern slopes planted with whites. Since 2008, Pascal Collotte has adopted an organic approach and since 2015 biodynamic, also certifying it on the label. This choice reflects the commitment to the production of authentic wines, linked to the territory and less oriented towards mass trade.
