From Alto Adige to the heart of Valtenesi, on the Brescia side of Lake Garda, Ilona and Vittorio have created their own life project, with the aim of enhancing this splendid area with a great wine-growing vocation.

The products of Conti Thun

The History

Originally from Bolzano, the family had been giving their grapes to the Cantina Sociale for a long time. In 2008 the decision to create the first Conti Thun label was made, in honor of Lene Thun, the one who started the THUN ceramics business and who loved the art of winemaking so much. Ten years later Ilona and Vittorio moved to the wonderful Lake Garda, in Valtènesi, taking over the Masserino farm and starting a new adventure.

Terroir & Winery

The Groppello grape and other varieties traditionally rooted in this region, such as Marzemino, Barbera, Sangiovese, Riesling and Incrocio Manzoni, are grown in harmony with the principles of sustainable agriculture. In their 15 hectares, these varieties offer an authentic and representative expression of the territory.
