The products of Corte Gardoni
The History
Corte Gardoni established its winemaking winery only in 1980, even though the Piccoli family, owners of the winery, boasts experience in viticulture that dates back at least four centuries. The first harvest came out with two labels, Bardolino and Bianco di Custoza, to which others were added over the years.
Terroir & Winery
The soils available to the winery have two different origins and compositions. The hilly terrains are made up of glacial deposits, where the textures of the substrate are sandy-loam with a prevalent skeleton; here mainly white grapes are grown. The lands located at the foot of the hills are part of the alluvial plain, where the soil of the terraces is sandy-clayey and gravelly-sandy underneath; here red grape varieties dominate.
