Crealto

The Crealto agricultural winery has its roots almost half a century ago, thanks to the former vigneron Carlo Quarello, a charismatic and cultured figure, known throughout the area as “The master of Grignolino”. With the support of his son Valerio, he managed the vineyards and winery for years, making himself appreciated for his Grignolino Crè Marcaleone. He did not let himself be discouraged by those who considered that wine too niche and outside the box, nor by those who thought he was crazy for not exploiting that extraordinary terroir to cultivate more renowned varieties such as Barbera and Nebbiolo, which however have found space over time. Crealto, linked to the historical and cultural roots of Monferrato, aims to convey the profound passion for authentic wine and the value of agriculture that respects nature and its rhythms.
