De Bartoli Etna

Between the districts of Solicchiata and Passopisciaro, on the northern side of Etna, the De Bartoli family, protagonists of Sicilian wine history between Marsala and Pantelleria, look after 4 hectares of vineyards at around 750 meters above sea level; it is yet another family challenge, that of trying our hand at the magic of the volcano and its Nerello Mascalese. The small winery is a complete microcosm of Etna: small terraces, stone turrets, the millstone, the historic winery, the olive grove and the old vineyard registered in 1940.
