This project is the culmination of the Tommasi family tradition, which has always been connected to Valpolicella, and represents a complete return to the family’s roots.

The Tommasi family, after several investments throughout Italy, has chosen to return to its roots, where everything originated. This special story represents the union between territory, history and wine. The La Groletta cru, among the most prized in the region, the historic villa De Buris, the oldest in Classic Valpolicella, and Amarone, an icon in the world of wine. The first harvest dates back to 2008.
We are in the highest part of the La Groletta vineyard, at an altitude of 250 meters, with 2 hectares of vineyard with very low yields. This clayey soil, the south-west exposure and the breeze from Lake Garda create a magical alchemy that enhances the qualities of the native Valpolicella grapes. The passing of the years completes the magic.
