Domaine de la Borde

Domaine de la Borde is one of the young companies that have deservedly brought attention to Jura wines. The adventure began in 2003 with Julien Mareschal who, after some experiences around France, purchased five hectares in the Côte de Caillot, near Pupillin. The vineyards are located at around 400 meters above sea level and have their roots in the blue marl typical of the area; the work in the vineyard has been biodynamic since 2012 and in the winery the vinifications are free of external additions, with spontaneous fermentations and minimal use of sulfur dioxide only at bottling.
