It is in the heart of historic Chablis that the buildings of Domaine Laroche are located. From 867, when the abbots of San Martino di Tours settled in Chablis, the development of the vineyard began. The relics of Saint Martin are in fact preserved in the Obédiencerie of the Domaine Laroche, where the property’s aging winery is today located.

The History
Since 1850, the Laroche family has continuously produced high-quality wines. The real turning point came with Michel Laroche in 1967, when he expanded the property from 6 to 130 hectares, many of which were located on the prestigious hills of the grand crus and premier crus of Chablis. The philosophy of seeking excellence, both in the vineyard and in the winery, has remained constant.
Terroir & Winery
The winery applies a 360° agroecological viticulture, a method that takes into account the relationships between the plant, its physiology, its soil, its climate and the environment, so that the balance of the plant can contribute to the reduction of treatments , becoming naturally more resistant to diseases and parasites. The treatments used must help the plant and not alter its balance and the ripening of the grapes.
