The story of this emerging winery begins in 2014, when Barbara and Pierre left Alsace and their previous occupations to create Domaine Sibille. Both experienced winemakers, in the summer of that year they traveled with their children in a camper through the French vineyards. And it was in Laure-Minervois that they found their happiness.

The History
It was in December 2015 that Barbara and Pierre, winemakers, created Domaine Sibille in Laure-Minervois in the Aude, in the Occitanie region. In this small organic farm at the foot of the Black Mountain, they work on just over 15 hectares of vineyards: 5 hectares in the Minervois Protected Designation of Origin and 10 hectares in the Pays d’Oc Protected Geographical Indication.
Terroir & Winery
60% of the winery surface is cultivated with red grapes and 40% with white grapes. The soil is mainly composed of sandstone and brings an extraordinary freshness to the wines. Only Viognier and Roussane are found on clayey-limestone soils which give the wines greater structure.
