Four friends from as many wineries: Erik Dogliotti, Paolo Stella, Cristian Calatroni, Federico Scarzello… Er, Pa, Cri, Fe. The project, right from the school desks and the first 500 bottles, was to create classic method sparkling wines from native Piedmontese vines. After various experiments they definitely found the right path and their identity.

The estate has identified the ideal conditions for its purposes in a 2.5 hectare vineyard in Madonna di Como, a hamlet of Alba: lean, light soil, an altitude of 400 meters and exposure to the East; the early harvest and solid skills in the winemaking and classic method phases complete the picture.
