The History
estate now in its third generation and now led by Ezio Poggio, who has made the recovery of the Timorasso his mission; project started in 2003, when the DOC was not yet present in the valley, with the planting of new vineyards and the construction of a new room with modern equipment for winemaking. 2008 was the first Timorasso harvest and today Ezio has also managed to make a pure sparkling version.
Terroir & Winery
The calcareous-clayey soils and the harsh climate mitigated by the sea winds coming from Liguria, together with a temperature range that is accentuated in the pre-harvest period, offer Timorasso the opportunity to express itself at its best.
