The History
The Feudo Antico winery was born from twenty members of the Cantina Tollo, a leading cooperative in Abruzzo, who established the new agricultural winery in 2009. In just three years the Tullum Doc of Feudo Antico have achieved great success with their Passerina. Hence the decision to leave the Tollo area to continue experimenting.
Terroir & Winery
The winery selected the vineyards through a careful evaluation of the geological and climatic conditions. The definition of the individual map sheets led to the choice of carefully defined surfaces, with high-density hilly or mountain vineyards. Great attention to the recovery of Pecorino and Passerina, and to the valorisation of Montepulciano, from old vineyards in the Tullum area, long macerations and spontaneous fermentation.
