The History

The Forlini Cappellini winery was officially founded in 1988 in Manarola, a hamlet of Riomaggiore, one of the jewels of the Cinque Terre in Liguria. The very small winery has a decidedly family character: there are father Alberto Cappellini, mother Germana Forlini, and son Giacomo.

Terroir & Winery

The cultivated hectare alone is a total expression of the characteristics of this magical place; he collects them all and then returns them to the bottle. The historical strains implanted are from 1945, to which more recent implants are added. Only the three native white grapes that make up Cinqueterre DOC, Bosco, Albarola and Vermentino are grown, with which a small production of Sciacchetrà, a traditional local passito, is also made.
