The History
Founded in the 1950s by Gino Gagliardi, it made the history of Verdicchio di Matelica. Today it is led by his son Umberto, a wine technician at the helm of production as well as president of the Verdicchio Matelica Producers Committee, and by his daughter Lara who takes care of the administration and the estate sales point.
Terroir & Winery
The production is mainly oriented towards Verdicchio di Matelica, which has always been interpreted by Gagliardi in an authentic and natural way, in its entirety; Merlot, Ciliegiolo and Sangiovese complete the production; a small production is also dedicated to the latter, together with Verdicchio, with spontaneous fermentation and maturation in clay amphorae.
