The History
Coming from a family of farmers for several generations, Gaetano stopped giving grapes to cooperative wineries in 1989 because it was in conflict with their policies in those years, and chose to become an independent winemaker. Already his first production of Schiava and Muller confirmed that the choice had been the right one; choice shared today with his children Walter, Andrea and Giulia who support him in his daily work.
Terroir & Winery
The vineyards grow between 400 and 700 meters above sea level, on soils with a strong mineral content; the alpine climate offers important temperature variations between day and night which reinvigorate the vines and give the grapes an accentuated aromatic richness. The protection of biodiversity is central, which allows us to enhance the natural charisma of the soils and vines.
