The products of Isole e Olena
The History
Until the 1950s, Isole e Olena were two small, separate villages, inhabited by a community of about a hundred people who worked the land to consume and sell its produce. Isole e Olena was founded in 1956, when Francesco De Marchi, a Piedmontese lawyer, fell in love with the beauty of the two villages and decided to purchase them. In 1976, with the arrival of Paolo De Marchi, Francesco’s son, Isole e Olena embarked on a new path. After completing his agricultural studies, Paolo renovated the property, rethinking it in terms of quality, with extensive research and selection of the vineyards, resulting in only the clones of vines that had proven to be the best over the years. In 2022, the De Marchi family chose to pass the baton to the independent family group EPI, which continues the journey of its predecessors, ensuring continuity.

Isole e Olena’s craftsmanship is expressed in their hands-on work with the vines, in their environmentally friendly cultivation, without forcing the plants or straining the soil, and in every phase of the winemaking, maturation, and aging process. Everything at Isole e Olena is the fruit of handcrafting and human expertise. Because only through craftsmanship, driven by care and attention to detail, can excellence be achieved.
