In the 1950s Erich, father of the current owner, founded the estate which includes vineyards in Magrè and orchards in Cortaccia, without making wine from the grapes but limiting himself to selling the fruits of his harvests. The Ogeaner vineyard was the first to be purchased in 1958, already half planted with Chardonnay. Other acquisitions followed over the years until in 2006 his son Armin and his wife Monika, who have always worked in the world of wine, decided to dedicate themselves to the winemaking of a selected part of their grapes.
