The History
The winemaking tradition of the Komjanc family has roots in San Floriano since 1860. Thanks to grandfather Giuseppe, the only one of six children to choose to stay in these lands and continue to cultivate them, the tradition was passed on to Simon and then to his son Evgen, current owner.
Terroir & Winery
We are in the heart of the Friulian Collio, with its soil of marl and sandstone, silt and clay, its winds, from sea breezes to the fresh alpine ones, up to the impetuous ones of Bora, the optimal solar exposure typical of the hilly morphology and finally the thousand-year-old peasant wisdom of its people, capable of creating extraordinary wines.
