The soil is composed of the typical “ponca”, marl and sandstone of Eocene origin stratified over the millennia. It is a soil rich in salts and microelements which give the wines their characteristic minerality and elegance. The microclimate between the Julian Alps and the Adriatic Sea does the rest, together with the expert hands and hearts of those who work there.
