Cuvée “Col del Réy” Alto Adige IGT 2016
48,20 €
The Laimburg Winery, which is part of the Testing Center of the same name, produces grapes from 20 hectares of vineyards located in various wine-growing areas of Alto Adige. These vineyards cover a wide range of soils and are positioned at different altitudes, ranging from 200 to 750m above sea level.
In 1975, on the initiative of the Province of Bolzano, the Laimburg Winery was founded in Alto Adige, within the Laimburg Experimentation Center. The aim of this project is to promote innovation and research, while preserving the unique identity of regional wines and respecting the rich winemaking tradition of South Tyrol.
The vineyards are located both at low altitudes and on the highest hills with steep slopes, and develop on extremely varied soils, ranging from moraine gravel and alluvial soils to primary rock and silty limestone gravel. The vines grow at an altitude ranging from 200 to 750m; the slope of the land and the type of vine determine the cultivation system, which can be pergola or trellis.
