The History
Yet another generation of vignerons of this small Maison, Clarisse and Michael Larnaudie manage their seven hectares with great care and craftsmanship, so much so that they have been rewarded by obtaining the certification of “High Environmental Value and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne”. From there the step to organic certification was natural.
Terroir & Winery
Michael adopts manual agriculture, rejects the use of chemicals and pesticides and avoids mechanical plowing of the rows. This philosophy aims to preserve the natural biodiversity of the vineyards. Larnaudie-Hirault cultivates the traditional varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, which he usually vinifies in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 80% and in French oak barrels for the remaining 20%.
