L’Autin
Autin is located at the foot of Monviso, on the border between the provinces of Turin and Cuneo, where over the centuries miners have dug deep mines for the extraction of talc; in these same mines today the estate’s sparkling wines are refined, at a constant temperature of 10°C and 90% humidity.

The History
Mauro Camusso, an agronomist by training, has spent years working alongside his wife in the family business, which specializes in stone processing. But his passion for agronomy and wine did not let him go and in 2010 he founded L’Autin, with the aim of giving expression to his territory and its native vines. Today the estate is led by his daughter Elisa who, thanks to her studies in Environmental Engineering, aims to achieve 100% sustainable production.
Terroir & Winery
The nine hectares of vineyards, cultivated in organic farming, extend largely between the towns of Bibiana and Campiglione, where lands of alluvial and moraine origin host the vines on loose and shale soils, up to 1000m above sea level, and where the excursion thermal is very significant; the environment here is ideal for the cultivation of white grapes. Further south, in Barge, where the winery is located, there are the vineyards of red grapes, where the climate is milder and the soil more compact and clayey.
