Le Masse di Lamole

The farm is located in the small village of Lamole, in the northern part of the Chianti area. Annamaria, fifth generation of farmers in Lamole, leads this small business which grows vineyards among the highest in the whole of Chianti, up to 660m above sea level. The estate has preserved the original dry stone walls for the terraces on the more climbing vineyards, training the vines as saplings as was once used here. The great tradition also continues in the winery, where large chestnut and oak barrels, which have always been used in Chianti for the aging of wines, have been restored for decades.
