Lis Neris was born and raised in San Lorenzo where the southern slopes of the Collio intertwine with the glacial plateau of the Isonzo Valley, and where the landscape is characterized by small villages and splendid vineyards. The protagonist was the Pecorari family, present in these lands since 1879 and whose legacy is carried forward today by Alvaro Pecorari; in the 1980s Alvaro began to consolidate a new production mentality aimed at sustainability, with the aim of achieving superior quality. His commitment has achieved widespread international recognition, and today his wines are considered excellent ambassadors of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
