The History
In 1988 Marco Martin and his parents decided to plant Pinot Gris, without much awareness of the vine’s potential, in an old vineyard that his grandfather cultivated to make wine for home. 1993 was the first year of production, the results were good and encouraged Marco to continue on the path he had taken. This is how the winery went from 1,000 bottles at the beginning to the current 60,000, producing one of the most appreciated Pinot Gris ever.
Terroir & Winery
The vineyards are located in the municipality of Introd, at an altitude of 800-900 meters. Thanks to the sandy soils with a strong mineral component and the temperature range that enriches the aromatic profile, savory, fresh and elegant wines are obtained.
